At Peacocks we take pride in our fun, positive and hardworking squads where all teamates are a family.
Entry into any of our squads is by trial only.
Our Mint and Lilac WAG squads follow the IGA levels 10-1 pathway with our Fuchsia and Rainbow squads also attending their new GEMs pathway.
We are very proud of our squads in our last competition season as they achieved multiple all-around titles and top 10 placings, as well as numerous apparatus medals.
We can't wait to see what 2025 brings!
Our squads start from ages 4-5 in Mini Rainbows, 5-7 in Rainbows, 7-11 in Mint, 12+ for Lilac and Fuchsia for 6+ by invite.
We are always looking for our next gymnast to represent peacocks positivity and hard work so if you've got a bouncy and focused gymnast at home showing exceptional strength and flexibility email us today for a trial!
Please reach us at flipping@peacockgymnastics.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If your child is from the ages 4-6 no experience is required.
From the ages of 7+ experience would be required whether from one of our GFA beginner classes or GFA advanced classes or from other WAG squads.
We have a variety of different hours and days available to our squad parents to help provide a suitable place for all.
This exact information will be given on acceptance after trial.
Mini Rainbows attend 1 day a week for 1 hour and progress to more sessions as they transition into Rainbows.
Rainbows attend 1-3 days a week for 3 hours per session.
Mint attend 2-3 days a week for 3 hours per session.
Lilac attend 3 days a week for 3 hours per session.
Fuchsia attend a mandatory 3 days with an optional 4th day for 3 or more hours per session.
Attendance to sessions is very important to stay safe and is crucial in aiding progression. Lack of attendance may result to your gymnast not moving up a level or moving groups to insure they are only performing skills that are as safe as possible for them to compete, helping to reduce injuries and insure a safe and happy training environment.
For day to day sessions your gymnast will need a water bottle, gym bag and PGA club leotard.
All squad gymnasts need a PGA competition leotard, hoodie and leggings.
PGA backpacks and hand guard bags are required for external competitions.
Depending on your gymnasts level/group they may need hand guards & wristbands, gloves & loops, elastic bands, sticky toes and at home bar.
All of this equipment excluding an at home bar is available at PGA.
You will receive exact information on what your child needs on acceptance depending on what group they join.
Sadly we do not provide a viewing gallery or area for you to stay and watch your gymnast, however we do provide parent viewing weeks where you can book to watch your child in their class.
At PGA we follow a strict Code of Conduct to keep everyone as safe as possible during classes to insure the maximum amount of fun for everyone. We expect all of our parents and gymnasts to follow our rules.
As a member of PGA we expect that you have read and follow our Code of Conducts.
