At Peacock Gymnastics Academy, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. We expect every coach, staff member, parent, carer, and volunteer to share this commitment.
When there are concerns about the welfare of a child, the child’s best interests will always come first.
To support this, PGA has a comprehensive Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, with clear procedures in place. All staff, including cover coaches, helper coaches, and volunteers, are required to be familiar with these procedures and follow them at all times.
Parents and carers are welcome to view the full Child Protection Policy, which is available here
Reporting Concerns
If you are concerned about a child’s welfare:
Record your concern, including observations and conversations.
Report it to one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads via the Office as soon as possible.
Do not attempt to investigate the matter yourself.
